He is a Canadian rock singer-songwriter, guitarist, producer, and photographer. Bryan has won many awards and nominations. He is the best Canadian male artist ever, he has sold over 75 million albums and 30 million singles in the world. He plays the vocals, guitar, bass guitar, piano, keyboards and harmonica. Did you know that he is a vegan? Well I didn't. He stands out for animal rights and he even has a charity fund. Bryan believes that an education is the best gift that a child could get. I don't really think so :D. One thing that puts up questions is that nobody has written on the internet that is he married or has he children. For god sakes he is 50 years old. I found out that he seems to be dating :D , well you're 50 years old and still dating? :D. I don't know how reliable the source is but it tells me that he has dated Princess Diana, I'm sorry but, what the hell? Is it even legal :D Despite that I love his music and he seems to be a good and descent guy. I wish that he could come again to Estonia and perform :). And I also hope that you forgive me that this post came a bit long, because it was my last blog entry. Bye! :)
Some of the albums:
* Bryan Adams (1980)
* You Want It You Got It (1981)
* Cuts Like a Knife (1983)
In Nova Scotia the population of them is the highest there. They are about 25cm tall and weigh about 9 kg. It has light brown coat, sharp teeth and claws. The Bobcat eats only meat, usually it hunts down birds, rabbits and squirrels. But the most amazing fact is that it can kill a deer. I wouldn't never thought that this little cat can kill a deer, considering that the deer
weighs about 500kg. They are very fast animals and can run up to 50 km/h. Like any other cat it can climb trees and has an exceptional sense of sight and hearing. It hunts after midnight. Amazing is that the Bobcat will put its back feet in the same spot as the front feet whilst hunting, to achieve quieter movement.

Sources:
link
link
Pictures:
here
here
Video:
link

Nickelback

First I would like to say that I've been waiting for this so long, I had the plan to do a post on them, when we were told to do a blog. I love their music and everything that goes with it :). Nickelback is a Canadian rock band from Hanna, Alberta. They play many genres such as hard rock, alternative rock, pop rock, post-grunge, alternative metal and heavy metal. They've been active since 1995. They are the successful band in Canada and they have sold over 30 million records in the world. Nickelback is the second best selling band behind The Beatles. The name nickel came from the band member Mike Kroeger, who said to his customers at Starbucks: "Here's your nickel back."

Their albums:
Curb 1996
The State 2000
Silver Side Up 2001
The Long Road 2003
All the Right Reasons 2005
Dark Horse 2008

Band members:

Chad Kroeger
Born on November 15 1974.
Plays the lead vocals and lead guitar.

Ryan Peake
Born on March 1 1973. Diana married to Prince Charles on 29 July in 1981 at St Paul's Cathedral. She picked out a large £30 000 ring consisting of 14 diamonds surrounding a sapphire. It was called a fairytale wedding. She wore a dress with 25 foot train wich cost £9000. On 21 June in 1982 she gave birth to her first son William and on 15 September 1984 they're second son Harry was born. On 28 August in 1996 she divorced with Prince Charles. Diana has also done a lot of Charity work. On 31 August in 1997 she and her boyfriend Dodi Fayed were killed in a car accident in Paris. There are many conspiracy theories that the accident was planned. Diana was buried on an island in Althorp, Northamptonshire, England. She has once said: "I'd like to be a queen in people's hearts but I don't see myself being queen of this country."
<img style="display:block; It is in the eastern border of the Black Mountain in Carmarthenshire, south Wales. It's near to Llyn y Fan Fawr. The legend is connected with the lake. There a local young man, son of a widow from Blaen Sawdde married to a beautiful girl who came from the lake. But they agreed that he won't hit her three times. For years they were happy and even had their own little family. As time passed by, the man did hit the wife and she went back to the lake and took the cattle with her. He lead the defence of Britain against Saxon incomers in the sixth century. Arthur is a mythic figure in Celtic Stories. He is also presented as a military leader, the Dux Bellorum in the Latin chronicles. Later in romance he was a king and an emperor. Nobody really doesn't know if he is a historical figure or not. Arthur also appears as a magical figure of folklore, related with the Welsh Otherworld, Annwn. The legend tells that he was the leader of the Kinghts of the Round Table and owned the sword Excalibur. He developed as a figure of international interest largely through the popularity of Geoffrey of Monmouth's imaginative 12th-century History of the Kings of Britain. In the 21st century, the legend lives on, not only in literature but also in theatre, film, television and comics. In 2004 there was made a film of King Arthur who was played by Clive Owen.

Here is the trailer of the film: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-N6pZX0sDAk

Sources:
http://www.lib.rochester.edu/CAMELOT/arthmenu.htm#bib
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/King_Arthur
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0349683/
Pictures:
http://www.uhigh.ilstu.edu/english/arthur/book1/Chapter%2021/king_arthur_3.jpg
http://www.cineclub.de/images/2004/08/king-arthur-p.jpg

English folklore bogyeman

Black Annis also known as Black Agnes. The Black Annis goes out at night looking for children and lambs to eat, then tanning their skins and hanging on the tree. Later she wears them on her waist. It's said that she creates her cave digging a hole into it with her iron claws. She is a young English photographer. Eleanor found photography at the age of twelve. At first she took pictures of collectable Japanese fashion dolls. Later she became interested in portraiture and fashion photography. She is studying for her A-levels and also she is working as a self-employed photographer. Her work embodies the idea of daydreaming the banality and routine of everyday life into something more mystical, playful and beautiful. It's a reflection of a world where surrealism meets realism. Her most well known client is Harper's Bazaar. Her photos were noticed by the site Flickr. Eleanor has once said that photography is her number one passion in life.

Actually I found her randomly from the internet. I'm amazed by her work and achievements considering her young age. She is an inspiration to me, I'd really like to meet her :)

Some of her work:

To see more of her work visit this site: http://eleanorhardwick.com/ or this site : http://www.flickr.com/photos/lenaah

Sources:
http://eleanorhardwick.com/#bio
http://www.magicalplacesfineart.com/blog/2008/12/an-interview-with-teenage-photographer-eleanor-hardwick/
Pictures:
http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_UMQXiyTc3XQ/SvAm9gkDn_I/AAAAAAAAA3A/w4T1OsaouGE/s400/Eleanor_Hardwick2.jpg
http://www.netzwellen.com/.a/6a00e54ff2481188340105368c39c3970b-400wi
http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_QIxTGuyCWks/SvPqOfcyrFI/AAAAAAAAD50/2DX_xtQZJrI/s400/eleanor-hardwick1.jpg

Red-Bellied Black Snake

The Red-Bellied Black Snake is a venomous species of elapid snake native to eastern Australia. I actually didn't know that they are an Irish band , maybe because that i didn't hear the celtic or folk sound in it. The band members come from one family. They became famous in 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia and their support in Celine Dion's tour in 1996 Falling into You. Their father Gerry Corr was a manager of the payroll department of the Irish Electricity Supply Board and their mom Jean Corr was a housewife. The kids grew up in Dundalk. Their parents performed together in a band called Sound Affair. Gerry and Jean had a great influence on their children. The Corrs have been active in many charity acitvities.In 1999 they received a British award for Best International Band. They have selled over 2.7 million albums. For their charity work they got a Order of the British Empire in 2005 by Queen Elizabeth II.In 2005 they did their last concert since then they've been passive.
Their albums:
1995 Forgiven not Forgotten
1997 Talk on Corners
2000 In Blue
2001 Best of Corrs ( i have that album, the album contains their very best songs.They have a positive and a good vibe in their songs.)
2004 Borrowed Heaven
2005 Home

Band Members:
Andrea Corr
Born on May 17 1974.Plays
the lead vocals and tin whistle.

Caroline Corr

Born on March 17 1973.Plays the
drums, bodhran, piano and vocals.

Jim Corr

Born on July 31 in 1964. Pate Brisee (Short Crust Pastry):

2 1/2 cups (350 grams) all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon salt

2 tablespoon (30 grams) granulated white sugar

1 cup (226 grams) unsalted butter, chilled, and cut into 1 inch (2.54 cm) pieces

1/4 to 1/2 cup (60 - 120 ml) ice water

* Measure the flour, sugar and salt together.Stir to combine.
* Add the chilled butter pieces and shortening to the bowl. Cut them in with a pastry cutter or knife. Don't over mix them.
* Add the ice water. Mix until the dough holds together (add a bit more water, if necessary).
* Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface, knead it together, then divide in half.
* Flatten each half into a disk, wrap in saran wrap and chill for at least half an hour.
* Roll out one of the disks on a lightly floured surface until you have a circle that's about 12 inches in diameter.
* Put the circle in a 9" pie plate, trimming any extra dough from the edges with a sharp knife. Return it to the refrigerator until you are ready to make the pie.
* Add filling (see below)
* Roll out the second ball of dough and cover top. Use a fork or your fingers to pinch the edges together.Cut a couple slits in the top.

Apple Filling:

2 1/2 pounds (1.1 kg) apples (about 6 large), peeled, cored, and sliced 1/4 inch thick (about 8 cups sliced) (about 900 grams sliced)

1/4 cup (50 grams) granulated white sugar

1/4 cup (55 grams) light brown sugar

1 tablespoon lemon juice

3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

1/4 teaspoon salt

2 tablespoons (28 grams) unsalted butter

1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon (15 grams) cornstarch (corn flour)

* Heat the oven to 425 degrees.
* Peel, core and slice the apples. Try to keep the size of the slices even.
* Mix sugar, flour, nutmeg, cinnamon, and salt in large bowl.
* Stir in apples.
* Pour into pastry-lined pie plate.
* Dot with margarine.
* Cover with top crust and seal the edges. Pour the honey, boiling water, and whiskey into a mug. Spice it with the cloves and cinnamon, and put in the slice of lemon. Let the mixture stand for 5 minutes so the flavors can mingle, then sprinkle with a pinch of nutmeg before serving.

You can find the video here: http://video.about.com/cocktails/How-to-Make-a-Hot-Toddy.htm If you want to make the drink by watching the video.NB!I don't recommend alcoholic drinks to people who are under 18.

See you soon! :)

Sources:
http://www.wisegeek.com/what-is-a-hot-toddy.htm
http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Hot-Toddy/Detail.aspx
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hot_toddy

Picture:
http://www.tassimodirect.com/tassimo/images/discover/recipes/recipe_hot_toddy.jpg

Ewan McGregor

<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 188px; height: 320px;"src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_6wQ-05zzCDU/S12gUv0hq_I/AAAAAAAABm4/LdZj7WXimWo/s320/Ewan-McGregor-1.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5430673003973290994" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 233px; height: 320px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_6wQ-05zzCDU/S12V6vTcRqI/AAAAAAAABmw/SiMZtjaL50U/s320/ewan-mcgregor.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5430661562041648802" />

Ewan Gordon McGregor was born on 31 March 1971 in Perth, Scotland, United Kingdom.He's a Scottish actor who has had success in mainstream, indie and art house films.At the age of six he attended Sunday school.Although his parents weren't religious, they believed making a wide range of knowledge and experience available to their children.There he had the chance to play in several plays.Ewan was very musical at school, he's got French horn to grade 7 , he also played in a school pipe band as a side drummer.The main subjects that he liked in school were art and music.Ewan wasn't very interested in school.He left Morrison Academy at the age of sixteen in 1987.Next year he left home and decided to move halls of residence in Kirkcaldy.
