Bryan Adams

Bryan Guy Adams was born on November 5 1959 in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. He is a Canadian rock singer-songwriter, guitarist, producer, and photographer. Bryan has won many awards and nominations. He is the best Canadian male artist ever, he has sold over 75 million albums and 30 million singles in the world. He plays the vocals, guitar, bass guitar, piano, keyboards and harmonica. Did you know that he is a vegan? Well I didn't. He stands out for animal rights and he even has a charity fund. Bryan believes that an education is the best gift that a child could get. I don't really think so :D. One thing that puts up questions is that nobody has written on the internet that is he married or has he children. For god sakes he is 50 years old. I found out that he seems to be dating :D , well you're 50 years old and still dating? :D. I don't know how reliable the source is but it tells me that he has dated Princess Diana, I'm sorry but, what the hell? Is it even legal :D Despite that I love his music and he seems to be a good and descent guy. I wish that he could come again to Estonia and perform :). And I also hope that you forgive me that this post came a bit long, because it was my last blog entry. Bye! :)

Bobcat

Bobcat is one of the three wild cats found in Canada. In Nova Scotia the population of them is the highest there. They are about 25cm tall and weigh about 9 kg. It has light brown coat, sharp teeth and claws. The Bobcat eats only meat, usually it hunts down birds, rabbits and squirrels. But the most amazing fact is that it can kill a deer. I wouldn't never thought that this little cat can kill a deer, considering that the deer
weighs about 500kg. They are very fast animals and can run up to 50 km/h. Like any other cat it can climb trees and has an exceptional sense of sight and hearing. It hunts after midnight. Amazing is that the Bobcat will put its back feet in the same spot as the front feet whilst hunting, to achieve quieter movement.

Gwîn Betys

In English it means Beetroot Wine. It's a classical Welsh country-style wine. It contains beetroot, sugar and raisins flavoured with spices. I have never heard that they make wine out of beetroot. This is just a little part of they're culture.

Here is what you need:
1,800 g beetroot
1,350 g sugar
1 gallon water
1 lemon
Wine yeast

Recipe:
Wash the beet thoroughly and cut them into slices and cook in the water until mild. Strain the beetroot on to the sugar and stir strongly until all the sugar is dissolved. When cool add the yeast. Cover the bucket and leave for five days stirring regularly.

Princess of Wales

Diana Frances Spencer was born in 1961 1 July in Park House, Sandringham, Norfolk. Diana married to Prince Charles on 29 July in 1981 at St Paul's Cathedral. She picked out a large £30 000 ring consisting of 14 diamonds surrounding a sapphire. It was called a fairytale wedding. She wore a dress with 25 foot train wich cost £9000. On 21 June in 1982 she gave birth to her first son William and on 15 September 1984 they're second son Harry was born. On 28 August in 1996 she divorced with Prince Charles. Diana has also done a lot of Charity work. On 31 August in 1997 she and her boyfriend Dodi Fayed were killed in a car accident in Paris. There are many conspiracy theories that the accident was planned. Diana was buried on an island in Althorp, Northamptonshire, England. She has once said: "I'd like to be a queen in people's hearts but I don't see myself being queen of this country."

Llyn y Fan Fawr

In Welsh it means the Lake of the small beacon-hill. It is in the eastern border of the Black Mountain in Carmarthenshire, south Wales. It's near to Llyn y Fan Fawr. The legend is connected with the lake. There a local young man, son of a widow from Blaen Sawdde married to a beautiful girl who came from the lake. But they agreed that he won't hit her three times. For years they were happy and even had their own little family. As time passed by, the man did hit the wife and she went back to the lake and took the cattle with her. But soon she came back the help and instruct her children. Some of the elements relate to the Welsh traditions of the fairies. There are many versions of the legend.
