Ewan McGregor

Ewan Gordon McGregor was born on 31 March 1971 in Perth, Scotland, United Kingdom.He's a Scottish actor who has had success in mainstream, indie and art house films.At the age of six he attended Sunday school.Although his parents weren't religious, they believed making a wide range of knowledge and experience available to their children.There he had the chance to play in several plays.Ewan was very musical at school, he's got French horn to grade 7 , he also played in a school pipe band as a side drummer.The main subjects that he liked in school were art and music.Ewan wasn't very interested in school.He left Morrison Academy at the age of sixteen in 1987.Next year he left home and decided to move halls of residence in Kirkcaldy. His first role in a film was 1993 it was called Being Human , where he played Alvarez.On 22 July 1995 he married Eve Mavrakis a French production designer.They have two daughters Clara Mathilde and Esther Rose. McGregor has a heart and dagger tattoo of their names on his right arm.In 2006 they adopted Jamiyan a four- year-old girl from Mongolia.Here are some known films, which he has played in: 1999 Star Wars episode 1 :The Phantom Menace where he played Obi-Wan Kenobi, 2001 Moulin Rouge starred there as Christian , 2005 The Island Tom Lincoln, 2006 Miss Potter Norman Warne, 2009 Angels and Demons Camerlengo Patrick McKenna.I think he's best movie which i have seen is Moulin Rouge , you can find the trailer here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DDw1_yV6ufM.His nominated for Golden Globe and has one emmy.Just recently he participated in Hope For Haiti Now telephon , a global benefit for earthquake relief.
